Meet Your Coach

Hi, I’m Rachael. I’m passionate about Leadership Coaching because I’ve been there—overwhelmed, burnt out and unsure of my next career move. What gets me out of bed in the morning is knowing I can help high-achieving women take the lead in their life and career to find the balance and success they deserve while avoiding the challenges I faced.

I’ve spent more than 20 years in product executive leadership roles in the hyper-competitive cybersecurity industry at unicorn startups and industry stalwarts. During that time I experienced incredible highs—complex mergers, impactful launches and developing rock star teams.  I also experienced incredible lows including imposter syndrome, burnout and feeling like a failure as a leader and a mom. These lows made my life harder and impacted my self-image, sense of priority and mental and physical health.

I loved the business world—the challenge fed my Type A personality and got my adrenaline flowing. But over time, the challenge became draining. The work was unfulfilling. I realized my priorities and values had shifted. It was my interest in helping my team and others around me recognize their power and potential that was fueling me.  It was time to follow my purpose.

Inner Compass Leadership is a combination of my street smarts and book smarts. My experience developing high performing teams, managing through a myriad of transitions and leading at all levels of management while raising a child on my own combined with my MBA from Duke University and intensive coaching training from iPEC provide me an innate understanding of your challenges and powerful frameworks to solve them.

As your coach I am your trusted advisor, devil’s advocate, accountability partner and safety net. Even though this is serious work, we will have fun in the process.
